Antigonick

After a last minute production cancellation, this collaborative lighting design was built in seven days for a staged reading of "Antigonick" by Anne Carson. As the assistant designer and a creative collaborator on the design team, I was able to contribute artistic ideas as we built cues from an existing light plot during initial readings. Though based on a script, given our inexperience and the timeline of the production, it very much felt like devised work as we designed alongside actor improvisation.
